The Rear Deck

Isn’t It Romantic?

Wrapping around the entire back of the century-old stone Manor, the rear deck is equal parts rustic and refined, complete with integrated trees and nooks and crannies for small groups and intimate conversations. The surrounding trees provide a canopy of dappling shade, but still allowing for star-gazing in the night sky with background music from the in-house sound system.

Most often the rear deck is the focus of cocktail hour, with butlered hors d’oeuvres and outdoor access to the Manor bar. However, it is also the site of choice for announcing the newly married couple into the party; for toasts and first dances; and to get away from the DJ music to have a conversation with family and friends into the evening. There are lights in the trees, lights on the perimeter of the deck, lights on the pillars and into the grounds…just made for reconnecting and rejuvenation.
